Circuito Art Decó - Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau, or New Art, was an international decorative arts movement, that began in 1890 and continued until 1914. It proposed the renewal of decoration in all the arts, although it stood out especially in architecture and applied arts, in both Europe and America.

Artists were inspired by the forms of nature based on animals, plants and female forms.

On the other hand, Art Deco expressions also proposed a renewal of the arts between 1910 and 1935 at a local and international level.

They included all areas of design: fashion, jewelry, furniture, decorations and, in particular, architecture. Its main feature was stylizing geometric shapes such as squares, circles, rhombuses, "chocolate bars", arrows and zigzags.

Many buildings in Rosario were developed with these architectural styles.
