Walk of the Century Tour

The Paseo del Siglo (“Walk of the Century”) is one of the most attractive tours in downtown Rosario.

It covers about seven blocks on Cordoba Street, from Paraguay St. to Oroño Blvd. It stands out for its historic buildings, many of them old mansions of families from the incipient local elite.

Walking along these blocks is like taking a trip to the past, in a few miles you can see public and private buildings of great heritage value. In addition to its architectural beauty, this walk keeps the memory of the political, economic, religious, and social past of the city.

Buildings with vast historical and patrimonial interest coexist with important and diverse stores, becoming an almost obligatory tour for locals and tourists.

To enhance its value, in 1991 through a municipal ordinance, this sector was named Paseo del Siglo.

Next, we will learn about different constructions that show the importance of this area for our city.
