Before the Trip

Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granado in Rosario, preparing their first trip across America.

This was the place where Ernesto “Che" Guevara was photographed with his friend Alberto Granado before starting their first trip across Latin America on the legendary motorcycle called La Poderosa (The Powerful). In this picture, both travelers are posing with Granado’s nieces during their visit to Rosario in January 1952.
