This building, owned by the Castagnino family, was originally built for rentals.
It consisted of a basement, a first floor for commercial activities, and three floors for housing. It was designed by Architect Eduardo Le Monnier and built by the Fioroni and Mazuchelli Company between 1910 and 1916. After a few years, it was renovated by the Candia y Cia Company.
The facade was designed in a tripartite design; the corner is distinguished by the presence of a curved section that functions as a point of union between the two front parts of the building.
This section ends in a small dome covered with black slates and circular windows that add a distinctive touch to the structure.
