He was born & spent most of his childhood in his aunt's house.
Alberto Orlando Olmedo was born in a house located at 73b Callao St., on August 24th, 1933. This was his aunt’s place; she "raised him more than his mother did", as Osvaldo Martínez, one of his friends, recalls. Today, that place is only a facade that stands through the years. It is also known that later he grew up in a tenement that was located at 2765 Tucumán St, with his mother, younger brother & little sister, in a room that had a small kitchen in front. There was also a patio with a pergola, and a shared bathroom at the back.
