This building, one of the most important works of Catalan Modernism in our city, was built in 1916 with the design of Francisco Roca i Simó. Both on the facade and on the staircase, there is a skylight and stained-glass windows with a floral motifs design.

For the ornamentation, zoomorphic, anthropomorphic, and heraldic motifs were used in various materials such as iron, tiles and mosaics with Spanish allegories that characterize this style.

The top of the building is highlighted by the Spanish shield flanked by two pillars on which two lions rest.

The triple-height hall is covered by an 82-feet skylight, made of iron and stained-glass.
