El altillo
The first record label of Rosario, “El Altillo Producciones”, operated on the terrace of the beautiful Remonda Monserrat Palace, and its first client was Acalanto group. Jorge Fandermole (who composed “Candombe de la azotea” at this place) and his band —Adrián Abonizio, Ethel Koffman, Fernando de la Riestra and his jazz band “El Umbral”, Acalanto group— used the rehearsal room available at El Altillo. “Fito” Páez made “Pichi” De Benedictis listen to “La vida es una moneda” and “Del 63” for the first time in this rehearsal room.
