In 1915 the second rose garden of the country was born. This time, it had peacocks and swans. Ernesto Aravena, who was in charge of the design, was inspired by the precepts of French gardening, characterized by parks with plenty of rambling roses and shrubs. At the center, it is located the Fountain of the Spaniards, made in ceramic. It was donated by the national community and boasts 8000 hand-painted ceramics in a Renaissance and Baroque style, which were made at the Spanish town of Talavera de la Reina by J. Ruiz de Luna in 1925.
In 1932, Alfredo Guido and José de Bikandi designed the benches and coatings of a pavilion in a way that reminds the American flora and fauna.
