Since 1950, the complex offers different services and is the main access point to the Paraná river.
The Fluvial Station is the main passenger port of the littoral region and the main access point to the Paraná River. River trips are available all year round and, in summertime, visitors can take the boats to the beaches on the other side of the river.
The main building was first opened in 1950, simultaneous to the erection of the National Flag Memorial. Remodeled in 1999, nowadays the station holds bars, restaurants and venues for events, apart from the “El Paraná y las islas” (The Paraná River and its Islands) Museum, founded by painter Raúl Domínguez.
