This residence originally belonged to the Firpo family. It was built by Taiana Company in 1913 as a typical house of the high society of the time.
It was donated to the National University of Rosario by its last owner, Mrs. Josefina Prats.
The interior design bears similarities to other residences in its surroundings, although it incorporates unique elements that distinguish it, such as a fencing room in the basement and a garage, considered at the time a symbol of status and modernity.
On Córdoba St., it maintains the building line. However, on the corner there is a garden facing west, which introduces a visual pause in the construction and enriches the formal composition. This space allows the incorporation of curved solutions in the architectural design, which gives a unique character to the façade facing Moreno St.
