Alberdi’s flower

A mansion that holds ghost stories.

Neighbors say that they could hear noises and see lights turning while the house used to be abandoned. But the curious thing is that there was no power supply available in the stately mansion. 

Today, there stands the Northern District Town Hall. However, during the early 20th century, this was a majestic place that held fancy meetings and parties. The building was commissioned by María Hortensia de Echesortu’s husband in her honor. As the years went by, it was left abandoned and empty.

Those who come by tell that they can still hear noises and they believe it is Hortensia herself wandering untiringly around her dwelling place.
