The Rural Society

This institution, created in 1895.

Used to host annual exhibitions of the dissemination of Santa Fe’s agro-industrial activities, was mainly attended by the school community.

Its facilities had a farm and a wire fenced farmyard to exhibit not only machinery but also a breed of cattle and two bull pens for winner bullfighters.

At the moment, it has had other uses that go beyond the rural development: in this building, circus companies were harbored and during the city carnivals, the main parades. 

This eight-hectare-area is in the process of enhancing its former value so as to readjust it for new uses.
