Located near the area where the city’s port and financial activities are concentrated, the hotel was designed by Architect Herbert Inglis and built in the 20th century by Felipe Censi in an eclectic style.
It was inaugurated in 1923, and one of its most outstanding characteristics is its corner dome of segments over which there is a smaller raised cupola, leaving room for a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the river, since it is located on a corner lot at the intersection of San Lorenzo and Bajada Sargento Cabral Streets, which is one of the few terrain elevations that can be found in Rosario, that stands out for being a city mainly with a regular planimetry.
