Looking towards the Parana River, this Memorial stands on the site where Manuel Belgrano hoisted the Argentine Flag for the first time on February 27th, 1812.
It represents the Homeland Ship sailing the waters of eternity towards its future of greatness. It has three outstanding sections: the Bow, the Civic Courtyard, and the Triumphal Propylaeum of the Homeland.
Below the Propylaeum, stands the Gallery of Honor for the Flags of the Americas, a space that pays tribute to the flags of the member countries of the Organization of American States.
Across Belgrano Ave. we find the National Flag Park, with a privileged view of the river and ancient abundant trees.
