In 1912, the cornerstone of the new temple was placed in its current location, on land acquired from Don Santiago Buratovich. Finally, on November 4, 1928, the main temple was inaugurated.
In 2001, the building was completely renovated, and in 2012, on the parish centenary, a majolica mural of San Miguel Arcangel, by the Rosario plastic artist Jaime Rippa, was inaugurated on the facade of the temple.
Near the church, there is a school with the same name. It offers all levels of education and is one of the most recognized schools in the area.
Opposite the parish, stands Buratovich Square, one of the main green spaces and an unavoidable neighborhood meeting place since its inauguration in the 1920s. It is also worth mentioning the Echesortu Club located in front of the square on San Nicolas St., as one of the most important recreational centers in the neighborhood.
