Posta de Aguirre

This is where Posta de Aguirre used to be located.

It was a spot where horses were exchanged, chosen by Manuel Belgrano to reorganize Regimiento de Patricios before entering Pago de los Arroyos, on February 7th 1812.
The officers and soldiers that accompanied him belonged to  Regimiento de Patricios They had bravely fought during the "English Invasions" (attempted military incursions by British troops). Moreover, they had also taken part in the events that resulted in“Primera Junta” (a historical event that initiated the process of Argentine independence).
