This building, built in 1926 by architect Dellarole, was originally conceived as a professional office and independent dwelling. It belonged to Doña Sara Martínez Bayodel and her husband, the prestigious pediatrician Dr. Siquot.
It is an urban low-rise residence, located on a lot between party walls. The building has a first floor and four upper floors. In its facade with profuse ornamentation, the balcony or roofed gallery opens to the street on the top floor and a large eave adds character to the whole complex.
The presence of a garden inside the residence is a rarity in the heart of the city. This green space brings luminosity and environmental quality to the building. The interior decoration was made with remarkable handcrafted details of great aesthetic value.
Over time, the building has undergone several changes as regards use, although it retains its original image and most of its distinctive elements.
