Teatro Astengo

The popular singer Enrique Llopis was impressed by Fito and invited him and his band to perform at the Fundacion Astengo theater during the first months of 1980, after seeing him performing in bars.

Thus, Fito, dressed in black for the occasion, performed for the first time in one of the most important stages of Argentina playing a grand piano with this popular singer. He fulfilled his dream of playing on the same stage where his mind was blown away by the performance of "La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros," one of the most renowned national rock bands, on a cold August of 1976.
