Inaugurated in 2005, it is located at the site of the Old Railway Station of Downtown Rosario.
This was the administrative headquarters of the former Argentine Railway Company. At the time of its construction, in 1870, this Station was regarded as the most important in the country due to its size, the number of buildings it comprised, and its economic success. Its architecture, with its distinctive Clock Tower, was recycled in the early years of the 21st century to house the Downtown Municipal District Center. The restoration and expansion project was developed by the acclaimed Colombian architect Laureano Forero, in conjunction with the Argentine architect Luis Grossman.
