España Park

Including a noteworthy Cultural Center, the “Parque de España” (Spanish Park) offers visitors an array of walks and an impressive grand staircase overlooking the Paraná River in downtown Rosario.

It is one of the best locations to admire the river, which gives the city much of its idiosyncrasy. Regarded as one of the most modern public undertakings in Argentina, it is a wonderful platform from which to see the National Flag Memorial to the South and the riverside road leading up to the Rosario-Victoria Bridge to the North. The Park is within downtown Rosario and but a few steps away from bars and restaurants with a view of the Paraná River. It also includes an area where young people roller-skate, skate and ride their bicycles.
The “Parque de España” Cultural Center is another key attraction: it includes a high-school, conference and exhibition rooms, a video library, a library and the “Príncipe de Asturias” Theater. Additionally, there is a small open-air auditorium with the riverside landscape as a backdrop.
