This large green space was created around 1890, along with the construction of Nicolás Puccio's mansion and the town's first chapel. It is made up of two smaller squares, located east of Rondeau Blvd., known as Brown, and of a larger square located to the west.
The smaller squares are in excellent condition, with geometric stonework, trees, benches, and lampposts that promote walks and rest for passers-by.
The largest square resembles a small urban forest, with ancient and lush trees that provide a wonderful view towards Villa Hortensia on one side, and towards Rondeau Blvd. on the other. It currently has games for traditional childhoods such as hammocks, climbers, teeter-totters, and an old carousel that delights younger visitors.
Opposite the smaller squares, there are some of the most important institutions in Alberdi such as The Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, The Miraculous Medal School, and Alberdi Hospital.
