The 230-ft tower honors the heroic deeds of May 1810. On the exterior, the four cardinal points represent the horizons of the Nation, and its walls hold historical quotes from General Manuel Belgrano. At its base stands Belgrano's crypt, though his remains are kept at Santo Domingo Church, in Buenos Aires, following his express wish. Here is the entrance to the tower’s viewpoint that offers a wonderful view of the city and the river.
