Rosario’s aquarium is a major project that comprehends the biodiversity of Paraná River’s delta. The building comprises a park with native plant varieties, a state-of-the-art research center, 10 enormous tanks, educational games on the first floor and a bar area with a terrace on the second floor.
The aim of the project is to research and provide information about the ecosystem of one of the biggest deltas of the world, which is a unique biodiversity reservoir providing food, shelter and breeding sites to approximately 240 fish species —almost a hundred of which can be observed alive in the aquarium.
Guided Tours
Access is available exclusively through guided tours for groups of up to 25 visitors. The aim of the tour is to raise awareness on the preservation of Paraná River’s ecosystem. Visitors will be able to explore the entire building, not only the aquarium room, but also the research and fish reproduction centers.
The tour lasts, approximately, two hours. A total of over 90 species can be observed at the aquarium. Visitors will also find a variety of technological devices and interactive 3D games in the aquarium room.
