It runs along the Paraná River and it is the natural frame of the emblematic National Flag Memorial.
It encompasses walks and groves by the river. This is a distinctive public space, enjoyed by Rosario locals and doubling as a venue for special events. On June 20th every year, a massive civilian-military parade and a public ceremony are held there to celebrate Argentine Flag Day. Other events that take place at this venue are the “Feria de las Colectividades” (a fair held every year, which sells food from different nationalities) and a range of free shows. It is the site of the Malvinas (Falklands) War Memorial and the handicraft stands at the “La Fluvial” Street Market and the “Del Bajo” Flea Market.
