The beaches of the Paraná delta are the ideal place to spend a day at the river and sunbathe. However, you’ll also find some nice shade and lots of opportunities to interact with the environment, around a completely different landscape, just a few minutes from the city.
You can depart from the Fluvial Station and sail across to the islands located in front of the Flag Memorial, or you can depart from the docks in the northern area, on Costa Alta or La Rambla Catalunya.

The boats depart from Fluvial Station, a few steps from the Flag Memorial, and sail across to the beaches on Banquito de San Andrés.
With the appeal of a rustic and island flair, all the facilities at El Banquito (open during the summer season) offer quick bites and fast food, juices, shakes, drinks and beer. Some of them also offer roasted meat and fish. You can enjoy all this along with music, activities such as soccer and beach volleyball, and nautical sports (especially kitesurfing). You can also rent beach umbrellas and recliners. If you want to get there all geared up, you can carry your own cooler box with food and drink.

The frequency of departures to the islands increases during the summer season (every hour).
Northern area departures
You can get to the beaches of La Invernada on a 5-minute ride by boat from the coast, departing both from the new dock for taxi speedboats, located on Rambla Catalunya, at Eudoro Carrasco Ave. 3200, and from Costa Alta pier, located further north, at Eudoro Carrasco Ave. 3650.
From this last dock, you can also reach Paraná Viejo, located behind the island La Invernada, after crossing the main course, bordering Rosario-Victoria Bridge, on a 15-20-minute ride.
Both places offer options for visitors seeking to relax, as well as for those who are after a little more fun and excitement.
