Explored Park - guided tour

The Park of Independence (or Parque de la Independencia) is one of the most emblematic spaces in Rosario.

It was planned by engineer Héctor Thedy from the rise of hygienist theories and the need to have a new area of recreation and socialization for a rapidly growing city. Thus, from its inauguration in 1902, it became a symbol of modernization that would keep Rosario up with other cities round the world. 
In its early years, the bourgeoisie of Rosario frequented the park, but with the passing of time, it became more popular among members of society in general allowing access to the popular sectors. 
This tour meets some of the attractions that can be found along its 126 ha.
