Give river to your heart

On the city side, you can opt for the beaches in the northern area, with large stretches of sand, bars, spots for sports, and a great view of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge.

The most traditional beach is La Florida, a space with exclusive parking, all services, and the possibility to rent loungers and umbrellas. Another option, just a few steps away, is a free and open-access beach, Rambla Catalunya, with an exclusive swimming lane and a craft fair.

You can also cross the Paraná River to spend the day at various island stops, just minutes away from the city.

In the northern area, the docks of Rambla Catalunya and Costa Alta invite you to board water taxis to the opposite shores: La Invernada and Paraná Viejo islands.

With areas of sand and groves, these stops offer a rustic and natural setting, panoramic views of the river and city, and, particularly, a great atmosphere. There are bars with diverse menus, camping and glamping options, as well as sand activities and sports, eco-camps offering peace and contact with nature, and even overnight stays.

From the city center, you can cross to Banquito San Andrés from the Terminal Fluvial.

For water sports enthusiasts, there are options for boat tours to explore streams, channels, and rugged spots to discover the flora and fauna of the Paraná Delta. For those seeking more adventure, you can take kayaking lessons or try Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) for an exciting experience.

If you're heading to the river, don't forget to check out the Guide to Good Practices for responsible enjoyment.

Give parks to your heart

Rosario is famous for having the most square meters of green space per person, making it an ideal destination for nature and outdoor lovers.

One of the main attractions is walking through the parks along the Paraná River. From Parque Urquiza, you can enjoy spectacular views, continue to Parque Nacional a la Bandera where you can't miss the Flag Memorial, and explore cultural warehouses where you'll find the Mercado de Frutos Culturales with a fair of local entrepreneurs and designers. Another park with a great panoramic view is Parque España, with its grand staircase and typical plaza for skating, rollerblading, or cycling. Continuing along the coast, you’ll find the Parque de las Colectividades, where you can take a unique photo with the famous Rosario sign. To finish, a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, located in the old port silos, will immerse you in the city's emerging art.

A classic stop in Rosario is the Parque de la Independencia, where you can walk from the river along the iconic Bv. Oroño, lined with palm trees and historic mansions. In the park, you’ll find the Laguito, where you can enjoy pedal boats or motor boats. Also, in the park’s rose garden, you'll find the stunning Fuente de los Españoles, recently restored.

On Sundays, if you enjoy exercise, don’t miss the Calle Recreativa, a car-free route from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where you can run, bike, skate, or rollerblade.

If you’re looking for a local touch, Rosario's fairs offer the best of regional products. At the intersection of Boulevard Oroño and the river, you'll find a large fair, as well as Mercado Retro and Roperito, offering original crafts, antiques, and second-hand clothes. Other fairs can be found in the northern area, at Parque Alem, La Florida, and Costa Alta.

Give local flavors to your heart

Summer is the perfect time to discover and savor a variety of river fish, with a beautiful view at the riverside bars.

The local gastronomy ranges from the traditional sandwich, "Carlito," to homemade dishes at local bars and “bodegones”, and the delights of specialty coffee shops.

If you want to taste the essence of Rosario, you must try its famous artisanal ice cream, making the city the national capital of ice cream, with ice cream parlors offering traditional, exotic, and gourmet flavors that create unforgettable experiences.

When it's time to dine, the city boasts a variety of restaurants serving typical dishes from around the world. The neighborhood that hosts the city's culinary scene is Pichincha, with extensive craft beer, vermouth, and signature cocktail menus. Meanwhile, Paseo Pellegrini is a traditional route filled with pizzerias, grills, and beer gardens.

Give Argentinian pride to your heart
